NFF Releases Super Eagles Provisional FIFA World Cup Squad

Nigeria have announced their 30-man provisional squad for the 2018 World Cup, which includes a player from the Premier Soccer League.

The Super Eagles secured their ticket to Russia after finishing top of Group B ahead of Zambia, Cameroon, and Algeria in qualifying.

Genor Rohr’s men have been drawn in Group D alongside Argentina, Iceland and Croatia for the tournament that is scheduled to get underway next month.

There is only one South African-based player in the squad as Chippa United’s Daniel Akpeyi was named as one of the four goalkeepers.
