Vivian Fowler College Denies Rescued Drug Addict, Lizzy
Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls has denied Lizzy, the seven years drug addict rescued by Tony Rapu.
The College released a statement stating that Lizzy who was rescued by Pastor Tony Rapu, didn’t attend the school.
The school disclaim Lizzy’s statement on it’s website thus:
Our attention has been brought to a viral video on social media about a young lady (Lizzy) who is currently undergoing drug rehabilitation at Freedom Foundation and is purported to have attended Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls.
We at Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls were heartbroken by the news, and as a body that stands up for her own (both present and alumni), we investigated and got her full names.
The investigation revealed she gave the social worker two names. However, none of the names matched any of our records from inception till date.
In any case, as an institution that has a mandate to nurture girls to grow and function as respectable and integral parts of the society, our institution has zero tolerance policy on drug use.
The pursuit of perfection and excellence for every girl-child is what we live for and we should support her recovery for her full potential to be realised.
We would with this be working together with the Freedom Foundation and every other party involved, to ensure she’s rehabilitated, re-oriented and reinstalled as a fully functional and productive part of the society.
